This is a fully remote role ideal for young adults, university students, and experienced or aspiring tutors who have a passion for working with children and are looking for a flexible way to earn income from home.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Guide students through English lessons using a well-developed curriculum and methodology
  • Positively engage and encourage students during each lesson
  • Provide feedback to students on their progress
  • Manage online classrooms efficiently

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Degree or NQF 7 equivalent
  • 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate
  • Neutral English accent
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using Zoom

Technical Requirements

  • Intel ® Core i5 CPU @2.40GHz (4 CPUs) or better, 8GB RAM or more
  • Stable fibre connection (minimum 25 Mbps download/upload)
  • LAN cable connection (no Wi-Fi, 5G, or LTE accepted)
  • UPS with 4–5 hours battery life and mini UPS for router
  • Noise-cancelling headset and HD webcam
  • Quiet, well-lit, professional teaching environment

Working Hours (SAST)

Monday to Friday: 11:00 – 16:00
